Lovely place for a walk in County Galway. Plenty of parking. The woods has one main trail to follow. Flat area. We go with kids and it takes an hour or so to go round the loop to include visiting the Ice Room and Mausoleum. Always stop in playground in the village on the way home.

Lovely walking spot. It’s still recovering from the damage brought on by Storm Éowyn, so some of the walking loops are closed but it’s a calm and gorgeous place, nevertheless

Before you enter the woods be sure to see the ruins of an old church, across from the servo, there is plenty of parking.

Amazing place for a walk. Wheather it's a quick walk or a long stroll this place is ideal. Loads of space for parking, multiple pathes to choose from. Great historical site also, and the area is very well kept. Beautiful spot whatever the season. Dog friendly area also. I highly recommend visiting...
