Old Conna Golf Club — Local services in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

Played Old Conna on Nov 1, 2024 via Golfnow app. The proshop welcome was friendly and the course/clubhouse has a cozy look. Luckily I was paired with a threesome who were friendly so the round was enjoyable. Nice views from many holes, certainly some holes are challenging but fair. Drives need to find the fairway to score well. The fairways and greens were immaculate. Although the skies were cloudy, the course presented well. I bought some golf shirts after my round, but upon my return when I tried them on they were too small. Went back the next day and the proshop guys took them back for a full refund with no fuss. The clubhouse looks very nice and the location of the course is easily accessible from the motorway. Will definitely go back. Shot 82 with 3 double bogeys, but can't really complain having played there for the first...

Played Old Conna June 15th for the first time, it is a really nice track. There is a massive variety of golf holes i dont think you could say any were similar., the par 3's are very strong and a couple of the Par 4's on the B9 in particular 15 and 16. The course makes you play good golf and demands accuracy. It is a tough walk, i wasn't expecting it to be as undulating. Greens are quite tricky also. The course was in fantastic condition and the surrounds and grounds were immaculate. Whoever manages this course does a fantastic job. We played in the scratch cup for 30 euro and it was exceptional value. I would have easily paid 50 for the day out. The whole place is kept so well, you can tell the members have great pride...

Great course. I've been trying to get out on it for a while and managed to get a tee time today using golf now. Very impressed with the conditions of the greens and tee boxes. I appreciate that they had some holes with temporary greens but not all holes. The temporary greens were better than most other courses greens. Had a very friendly experience in the pro shot. I forgot the straps for my stand bag so I needed to hire an electric trolly. Got it for half price of €5 because the light was fading and I wouldn't get all 18 holes in. I love when a course has those fairway friend sand bags and old conna had them both the 1st...
