Falcarragh Beach is a popular beach destination for families, located in Drumnatinny, Fortown, Co. Donegal. This beach is very beautiful specially in evening time. Best for beach side walk. Should visit this beach to see a beautiful sunset. Beautiful tides with cool wind and a soothing sunshine it's not less than a perfect mind opener. There is no specific season or time to visit this place. Whenever you find good weather just visit this place. I loved it and I believe you will also love it. I can visit this beach everyday. The way that will led you to this beach is also very mesmerizing. I just love this place. 6.60 km, out and back trail near Falcarragh, County Donegal. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 51 min to complete. This trail is great for walking. You can also enjoy beautiful sunsets from Ballyness Pier and sand dunes of Drumnatinny. The beach has recently been awarded Green Coast status because of the purity of the water.

One of Donegals's beautiful beaches. Stretches for miles. Very clean & blue flag status. Definitely worth a visit.

Cracking beach, something for everyone. River mouth with plenty of pebbles but a big wide sandy beach with steep dunes. Good long tide making plenty of space for beach activities and usually a steady surf for various water sports. Even when busy it's so vast that you never feel like you're sharing it. Easily the best beach for miles around.

Edit: been coming for 15 years now and still discovering new things. There's even a couple of decent boulder problems at the rocky end...

Easy to find and well sign posted, lots of parking, clean, and easily one of the longest most expansive beaches in the area. Widely varied with large dunes, rock pools, a river and a pier, views out to Tory and Inis Boffin Islands, Horn Head, and the Derryveagh mountain range....
