This is a really nice hike! We parked at the lower lot for a bit longer hike. The beginning of the hike from the lower lot is the super touristy Torc Waterfall. After passing the waterfall and ascending a nice bunch of steps, we were on our way down the Kenmore Way. The hike was beautiful with amazing scenery inside the park including an old farm dwelling, with stone fences still standing the test of time.

Just shy of two miles from the lower car park, we reached the split for Torc Mountain from the Kenmore Way path. The Torc Mountain trail is extremely easy to follow and improved all the way. Overall, our Garmin watch recorded a 1500+ foot vertical gain. From the top of the mountain, the views were stunning!

The overall hike distance was 6 miles and we knocked it out at a moderate pace with multiple picture stops in just...

Incredible and picturesque hike. The road is nice and clean for the most part (I.e., I would not expect mud unless it rained). The walk to the top is over the wooden planks which is nice.

The view is one of the best there is. Recommend grabbing some drink or snack to enjoy it at the top.

Overall from the parking lot to the top and back should take around 2-3 hours depending on your skill and energy.

Warning: no restroom on the way (except of the parking lot). Also there is little shade, so do not get burned under the sun and cold wind.

I met a great person there, who became a great friend afterwards. So perhaps there is some magic to the spot and the next time you will be hiking consider saying hi to the people...

An easy enough climb for pretty much anybody with sleepers to walk on most of the way up! The 360° views from the top, of Killarney, the lakes and surrounding mountain ranges is simply sublime and to catch a sunrise, sunset or night time Milky Way view from here is truly highly recommended and I know from experience after camping up here myself! A nice easy drive, only a few miles from Killarney town and blessed with a couple of beautiful waterfalls too! Simply a must if visiting Killarney or if you find yourself...
