Frank's Takeaway — Local services in Municipal District of Cobh

I travelled home to Cork for a holiday as I now live in Scotland, and Frank’s hasn’t changed one bit! From the retro arcade music that plays to the best curry sauce I have ever gotten in a chipper! We ordered the chips, curry, chicken burgers, battered sausages and the mozzarella sticks, all was perfectly cooked and tasted incredible! For the quality you would expect to pay a higher price but nope, about €20 got us this feast for 3 and I definitely forgot how filling it is! It’s not like going to your McD’s where you are hungry again soon after, Frank’s will keep you full for the night! But definitely definitely try the curry sauce! I have tried a good few chippers in the area, as you do, but nothing comes close to Frank’s.

First of all, the food isn’t bathed in grease so it doesn’t make you feel heavy afterwards. The chips are gorgeous, breast in the bun perfectly seasoned and the best and greatest, the Brie bites! My god, they’re amazing with the sweet chilli sauce.
