We walked the steep side just outside Milstreet Country Park entrance. Be warned that this is a moderate hike with boggy patches throughout. Waterproof boots recommended and depending on the weather gaits are also recommended.
We walked on a clear day so it was much better than a wet and cold day.
Going over the steps is a boggy patch so plan your next steps through this part.
The views are amazing all around and well worth the hike. Take your time with breaks which will be rewarded by the views.
