Lin's Ardee — Local services in The Municipal District of Ardee

Stood and awaited my turn to place an order while the cashier was taking a phone order for 3-5 mins (which was fine as the cashier was on the phone when I walked in )when she finished she tagged up the receipt, and as she turned to take my order (I was first in the queue) the phone rang again and the cashier proceeded to answer AND take the phone order (not asking them to hold as you’d see in other take-always when someone has been waiting ), this leaving me standing at the counter with my card in my hand. When I tried to get her attention and point out I had been waiting prior to the call she simply ignored me, it took one of the chefs to come over, apologise (he did look genuinely sorry having witnessed what happened and offered free drinks and prawn crackers, which I turned down, as that was not what I was making a fuss for). What is most concerning is I witnessed the very same staff member to the exact same thing to a women the week before (she too wasn’t one bit impressed). Seems no matter how long your waiting, that phone orders will always get priority, let’s face it the food is not so good that you can do that, time to start going to one of the other take-aways...

They are the nicest people you will ever meet, you are greeted with a smile and a welcome from the staff, they're always lovely towards me, I would be a regular to the establishment. Jay, Tony and Irene are very polite to the customers from my personal experience along with Sophia, Alison and the other staff. I get a small spicy box and then my fiancee gets chicken nuggets and a portion of sausages but she got a chicken Burger instead and then when she ate it she said it was absolutely gorgeous and then my spicy box was just to my liking, it is the best spicy box in the locality, no 2 ways about it, actually I will say in the whole country. The Irish staff are very polite too and Tony couldn't do enough for me to ensure I was being served with the utmost respect, he is definitely an asset to Lin's. I recommend anyone who wants food in Ardee who are visiting the town, driving through, this is the best spot for food, it is definitely getting a 10/10 from me for everything. The girl that took my order was friendly and helpful. She adapted the order, only querying to ensure she had the order correct. As take aways go this is definitely in the top few. The food was tasty and good quality. The portion size is not lacking, plenty of food arrived. The extras were a nice touch and I would not hesitate to highly recommend Lin's for your next take...
