Nice forest, very quiet and tranquil. Flat walk so very easy going but the trails are rough so would be difficult to walk with a buggy or wheelchair. Walked my dog there and only met 3 other people, all dog walkers. Big car park with a picnic table. Lots of seats all the way around the trail. I did the red trail in under an hour and that was at a leisurely pace. Little stream going through it, but it was quite dirty and foamy today because of all the recent rain. Only downsize I had was that it was a bit of a boring trail, it looked the same the whole way around and there was no variation of plants or things to see. I like a walk with a nice view, wildlife/plants or even a few informational signs would be nice. Perfect if your local but wouldn't really travel...
Read moreThere is not alot one can say about this walking trail.. Its exactly that. Plenty of parking and a picnicking space for one to eat just at the beginning of the trail. In recent months due to Covid a coffee shack has been set up at the Weeke ds. Alot of users on this trail also walk their dogs. There are many different routes one can take to en joy their rambling walk. In spots one can sit and take take out to reflect on life or perhaps read a book while watching...
Read moreLovely walk but the pathways are destroyed in dog poo so you will spend your time looking down rather than around as to not step in any. Ruins a good walk. Loads of people walking their dogs with no leads and clearly not cleaning up after them. Nothing wrong with letting your dog off the lead for a run but at least have the common decency to bring...
