What a gem! In my opinion, it is a must-see if you get even remotely close to it. What a wonderful experience we had! The history, heritage and importance of the Irish bogs is fascinating. We were warmly greeted and made to feel most welcome by Triss, who is committed to the bogs' preservation and is passionate about his calling. Even at this time of early spring we saw amazing plants, including carnivorous ones, and even a butterwort plant emerging. Well worth the minimal entrance fee; please consider donating above that to further the preservation...
