A group of us had the great pleasure of visiting the brewery last weekend. It's small, simple and no bells and whistles. That however, is the absolute beauty of it. It is a great tribute to what Des and his crew have put together here and it's obviously a considered part of their approach. It's a proper craft brewery and it feels like artisans are at work. We've been to breweries and tours previously that just wanted to showcase and shower you with distraction. From the moment we arrived, Des greeted us with a taster, then tour and after that the lads did not want to leave. Became quickly the highlight of the weekend. Regardless of the sheer level of work and effort that has gone into the place, the atmosphere curated in Carlingford Brewery is first class, from the setting alongside the Mill House, wood fired pizzas (which were delicious and greatly compliment the beer) until we were full, good beer, to the comfortable fire and everything in between - the very warm and friendly atmosphere is highly recommended. Thanks very much Des, your hospitality was sincerely appreciated and see you again...

The place is lovely for an evening out with friends or family. The food is also very good and tasty especially the pulled pork burger. The cocktails are amazing at this place I always order one. But the only downside of this place is the staff can be kind of rude and weird. The tables are very sticky and dirty well at least the ones outside. We asked to get ours cleaned and the waitress was weird about it and took forever to come clean it. The cloth she brought was already dirty and she barely wiped the table which left it still dirty and sticky. This isn't the first time this happened. The place is just not clean to a good standard, which is a huge minus for the place. The management should look into this matter to make the place more enjoyable. The live music at the place is a great idea but it's soo loud you cannot hear anyone talking and it actually just gives you a headache. You come to eat and chat maybe enjoy some music in the background but this music is blasting so loud you can't communicate...

Celebrating my nieces 30th birthday. We had such a lovely experience. From the start staff so welcoming and accommodating as we had elderly parents so they made sure we had a nice table. Our table was booked for 11 people but end up with two extra, this was no problem , extra seats added with no fuss. Drinks came promptly ( cocktails, wine , Ale and fizz drinks ) and our food ordered taken with ease. Couple of people shared food which staff had no issue with. Once our food arrived everyone tucked in. Not one complaint and that was a group of 13 , age range 17-80. Staff were very attentive making sure all was good. Once table cleared they brought out the birthday cake we had brought with us and sang to the birthday girl. A tea/ coffee order was taken and knife and plates given to share some cake. It is a beautiful place and great value as well. The Atmosphere was lovely . Staff very friendly , we all had a great afternoon. Highly recommend and will...

We weren’t sure what to expect heading into the Carlingford Brewery & Táin Taproom, but it turned out to be one of the best afternoons we’ve had in ages. The setting is unreal, tucked away in the woods with a proper rustic vibe. The wood-fired pizzas were spot on, and the beer was class. You can tell there’s real craft behind it. The brewery tour with Des was a highlight. He’s a top man - funny, down-to-earth, and knows his stuff. He walked us through the brewing process with great stories, and you could tell he’s genuinely passionate about what he does, and it made the whole experience feel personal. The tasting session was brilliant. We're mostly all lager man, but their Session IPA and Red Ale were cracking. The staff were sound too - friendly, chatty, and happy to talk through the different brews. If you're into good beer, good food, and a bit of Irish legend thrown in, this place is a must.

Local sensacional, ótima comida, ambiente muito agradável, comida, pizzaria e Pub, áreas internas e externas super agradável, é uma cervejaria com opções autorais da bebida, e um um cardápio bem variado. Pizzas deliciosas e sabores diferentes.

Great unique find! We booked CB as a good halfway meeting point between friends who live in Dublin & Belfast for Christmas lunch and gathering in the Old Millhouse Restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food (I loved the soup!) and great selection including veggie and kids options. The staff were all lovely and accommodating for a group of 8 adults and 1 child. They also accommodated an earlier lunchtime start for us which we thought was really lovely. Atmosphere was nice & cosy with open fires in most rooms and lovely character and original stone wall features. We look forward to coming back with our doggies in Sping/Summer to the Taphouse for some pizza & craft beer as their outdoor set up looks great!
