Tearaways Pet Farm & Activity Centre — Local services in The Municipal District of Nenagh

Had a nice day out with our 3 grandkids recently. A potentially lovely facility but it just doesn't tick all the boxes. The indoor part is perfect, good activity play area, nice food & sweet treats and lovely coffee. Staff couldn't be more pleasant; we were told we could stay for 3hrs but as it wasn't too busy, longer if we wanted. However, we realised why it wasn't busy when we went outside. The pet farm area could really do with some serious upkeep. The go carts were in awful condition, rusted and unusable, some with tyres that were split open. Even the little sand diggers in the sand pits weren't working. The swings are in dire need of some wd40 and the outside area was generally grubby. The only thing the children could do was look at the animals or play football as there are goals set up. None of the outside hand gel dispensers are working and you had to go back inside to use a bin. This facility for children is excellent, offering a comprehensive array of features for children of all ages. The indoor and outdoor play areas are well-equipped, providing ample space and diverse equipment. Inside, there’s a very good soft play area for children, alongside a dedicated section for younger kids featuring musical instruments, a small slide, rocking horses, and various toys. Additionally, 'Little Tikes' cars are available for children to enjoy a spin around the indoor space.

The on-site pet farm adds to the charm with typical farmyard animals. While other pet farms might boast a broader variety, this one uniquely offers a tractor with trailers, providing an exciting farm tour for children over 3. The food options are also impressive, both in presentation and price.

All I can say is WOW!!! We went here last Saturday with my 2year old son and other family members and the kids could not have enjoyed it anymore . So much to do inside and out they were entertained for hours . Also good for the parents to enjoy quality time with their kids . The staff could not have been anymore helpful too , they were so nice and friendly . The kids LOVED the animals and play area outside which had 2 sand pits with diggers & buckets and spades . Also the go kart area was fun . And of course I can't forget the TRAIN/QUAD ride the kids loved the spin around the grounds seeing the animals . And to finish off the day they played in the inside jungle gym which they didn't want to leave . Also food was amazing in there :). I will most definitely be back here a lot during the summer . Worth the trip . And great value...
