Lovely walk, but maybe don’t hike in converse 😅 we travelled up here in the rain (as the Irish do). Loved it. There was a few reviews saying the road is fine to drive…. However, it’s EXTREMELY narrow and definitely take your time and make sure you have plots of concrete to stay to the side if you see a car coming the opposite way. It’s definitely not suitable for two cars that’s for sure. And I drive a small slim sports car, it was fine and powerful to drive to and from - but I wouldn’t be putting my life or car into the bushes 😅 so please do be very careful of this. I asked my passenger partner to take a small video of the road, take note this was after 7pm possibly near 8pm when we had this spontaneous idea to travel up a mountain so we only encountered two cars. Overall it was lovely the views, car park is small. Approximately 10 car spaces but it would be fine. You pass cows along the way too which is extremely adorable (video uploaded of...

I've been going to the Devil's Bit since I was old enough to walk. Absolutely love this place. Some of the most stunning views you will ever see. The Cross at the top has some graffiti on it unfortunately but still an amazing land mark for Ireland with loads of history. On a clear day you can see The Galtee's, The Knockmeldown's, Slievenamon, The Comeraghs just to name a few. A lot of different foot paths to choose from too. The Rock Tower half way to the top is also a nice feature as well as the shrine. One thing I'll say is that on a nice day it can be difficult to find a car space and the narrow road leading up can be tricky to drive up as you meet a lot of cars coming the opposite direction so be wary...

Fantastic mid level walk with stunning views on a summer's day or, if you're feeling more adventurous, on a winter's day. Turn left after the folly if you want to enjoy the walk through the woods too. Remember, you haven't climbed the Devils bit if you make it up to the cross. That's Little rock. Devils bit mountain is the plateau across the way. I always do both. It's a great cardio challenge and calorie burner (about 650 calories) and it takes around 2 hours at a...
