Oh I loved my visit to the Ardfert Friary, myself and my husband climbed the tower and walked all around the ruins, its so interesting and beautiful, especially the surrounding views and the walkway with the Arches. You can park in the car park and then walk to the Friary, it's just a short walk to it and well worth it. I got some smashing photos around sunset. It is a ruins so safety should be on your mind when walking around it, small children should be watched at all times and definitely not be allowed to climb up or on anything. There are no facilities there so so don't expect toilets or a shop, it's surrounded by fields and farms and is unmanned. I Would recommend it to anyone who loves history, architecture, nature...
