King Kebab Castleisland — Local services in Tralee Municipal District

Every time I'm in castle island I pick up a chicken kebab from this take away. The kebabs are made fresh with healthy ingredients and taste delicious. You can tell when an outlet puts the effort in and makes good food. I would totally recommend the chicken kebab. I think the fries could do with a bit of seasoning. Maybe some smoked paprika, piri piri and salt. But that's just my style. I may try the curry the next time. All in all a great place with great food and friendly staff I would recommend. I hate leaving a bad review, but I really had to on this occasion. I ordered a vegetable Korma and Peshawari Naan. The veg in the Korma had been a packet of frozen veg. You know the ones with the tiny carrots that only resemble a carrot in colour and shape. Forget flavour and the texture was awful. Green beans that are soggy and limp, peas and tiny mushy florets of cauliflower, all the same indistinguishable flavour. The Peshwari naan was dry and somewhat tasteless. I'm afraid I wont be buying again...

This is an AMAZING Indian take away. 100% reccomended. The food is A1. Its freshly made from scratch and I couldn't fault it. Staff are friendly and more importantly the price is fantastic for the quality of food you get in return. I've had many Indian meals and I know the difference between good and bad! Get to Castleisland if you fancy a really nice take away...
