Mount Meron — Local services in Merom HaGalil Regional Council

Nice hike around the peak, good for all year except of rainy days. Winter/spring can be cold. Can be slippery. Parking place available. No need for huge backpack, but don't forget some water. I am a good hiker and taking it easy enjoying each spot it takes me an hour in very easy walking. Each season will have its special characteristics. Most of the hike has shade, Make sure to calculate to be back on time before dark at the parking lot. Sun sets quickly if close the the horizon. There is cell reception most of the time.
