finest. Our excellent tour guide found bible passages that mentioned the surroundings by name, and we read them out loud in front of the waterfall. The plants were beautiful! The history of how the gardens were planted was interesting. There were varieties of plants from places far and near. Very clean, well kept, unique flowers, plants and trees, some from Africa. It takes about 20 minutes to cover the route. Not a place to stop for a picnic - it is a residential area.

I came here on a tour included with Dead Sea and Masada. Fun stop with some waterfalls and small โ€œpoolsโ€ to cool off from the heat. They also have Davidโ€™s waterfall which has a biblical meaning, you can walk to it which is a little far in the heat but I chose not to. Good stop if you have time.

Such an amazing scenery Wish I stayed longer. Ein Gedi is one of the most beautiful places in the world, literally one big botanical park, a place that relaxes the body and soul, So make a stop here if you are on the way to Masada or Dead Sea spa.

Five stars isn't enough for Ein Gedi Eco Park. This place is a living, breathing testament to what's possible when we work with nature, not against it. It's an oasis of sustainability, and frankly, it's what every park, every home, every community should aspire to be.

The moment you walk in, you feel the energy. Itโ€™s not just about the beautiful gardens and the incredible views of the Dead Seaโ€”which are, by the way, breathtakingโ€”it's about the feeling that everything here has a purpose. The water, a precious resource, is recycled and used to sustain the lush, vibrant plant life.

The food is grown right there in the garden, a true farm-to-table experience that makes you feel connected to the earth with every bite. The composting toilets, the mud building workshops, the solar ovensโ€”it's all so simple and yet so brilliant.

Ein Gedi isn't just a place to visit; itโ€™s a place to learn. Itโ€™s a demonstration of how we can create a beautiful, abundant life while living in harmony with the planet. It makes you feel hopeful about the future. I left feeling inspired, rejuvenated, and ready to bring a little bit of that intentional, sustainable magic back to my own life.

This is the kind of experience that stays with you. Go. You...

It doesn't sit well with me to have to give such a low rating on a lovely place, but I was badly mistreated by staff and I don't find this acceptable. After finding out that I had been charged twice, I went back to speak to the same man who charged me, to try to politely show him the proof both in my e-mail and in my bank account (meaning my double proof), and he not only refused to watch it, but he mocked me (like a 5-year-old, repeating what I was saying in a kids voice), raised his voice, and told me that I was a "poor tourist" complaining for 28 shekels. I understand 28 shekels may not be a lot for a regular income in Israel, but I do not live nor receive my income in Israel, and even if it was 2 shekels I shouldn't be charged twice and then mistreated when I politely (try to) show the proof. I don't understand why someone so violent is working receiving people, but a course on how to treat people and how not to mistreat visitors would be welcomed. When I went back to my tour bus, in very bad shape, the tour guide immediately asked me if it was the man who I spoke with. I think he clearly has a reputation for mistreatment between tour guides, and I can provide proof of that, as I was on the...
