beautiful countryside family run farm. location is authentic and very well kept, the family who runs it is very kind, sweet and caring: they will make you feel like part of the family. the food is nearly completely made from ingredients they produce themselves in the farm, and it's the perfect example of a genuine traditional meal. expect to eat a lot, very well, tasty and healthy, for a very very reasonable price! rooms are furnished with autentic traditional style, but don't look old at all, and are clearly made with passion and care. so, if you look for excellent traditional food and/or a nice place to stay this is the place for you! (unless you don't like animals, in that case go to a stupid hotel in town)

Che bella scoperta questo agriturismo! Abbiamo pranzato qui in famiglia ed è stata una bellissima giornata, in totale relax e con cibo squisito, di produzione locale, preparato dalla sig.ra Antonietta. La sensazione più bella è stata quella di sentirsi subito "a casa", accolti con grande cordialità. Il menu è fisso e completo, abbiamo mangiato diversi antipasti, tra cui affettati, fior di latte, frittelle, salvia fritta, focaccine al pomodoro e origano, verdure e fagioli, peperoni, fegatini di agnello. A seguire due primi a scelta, orecchiette con salsiccia e broccoletti o tagliatelle al pomodoro (ne abbiamo avuto un assaggio di entrambi), poi il secondo, maialino in crosta o coniglio alla cacciatora, dolci fatti sempre artigianalmente gustosissimi, caffè, nocino, acqua e vino compresi, circa 30 euro a persona. I bambini si divertono con i tanti animali presenti in fattoria, il panorama rurale e l'aria buona, insieme al cibo genuino, regalano una giornata di vera pace. Necessaria la prenotazione.

Amazing place, the host is simply the most hospitable person I’ve ever met and her meals are just delicious, quality and quantity is on point. There is nothing specific to see in the near surrounding, but the county side is beautiful none the less. Highly recommend a stay and to indulge in the food (but come with an empty stomach!!)

We had an amazing but brief stay. We booked our one night stay at the lovely Regio Tratturo because family, several generations ago, emigrated from the area. We had not previously informed the team at Regio Tratturo of this. Upon our arrival, we were immediately treated like family by the family that owns the farm. They went above and beyond to make our time at their farm and in Ariano Irpino amazing. The host's daughter took us on an in depth, informative, and personalized tour of the farm and the town (not prearranged). While we were out, our host, Antoinette, researched our family's name and found the one person in town with the same name. When we arrived back at the farm for dinner, we met him and discovered that we are distantly related. Amazing! The food, all homemade by Antoinette and her team, was amazing (and never ending). The accommodations were quaint, comfortable, and relaxing. The farm is beautiful. We had an amazing time. We feel a personal connection with the family at Regio Tratturo despite only visiting the farm for a short time. Their caring and above and beyond service made a forever impact on our...

Our weekend stay at Regio Tratturo was a highlight of our three week trip to Italy. The host family was extremely gracious and generous. Although they did not speak much English they made a point of having English speaking friends come by and talk with us. They also arranged for someone to give us a walking tour of Greci when they realized we were interested in seeing the town because of family ancestry. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and it was fun to tour the farm. The surrounding countryside was so beautiful and quiet - it was wonderful to come to this haven after experiencing the crowds of tourists in Sorrento. Last but not least, the food was the best of our entire trip. Almost everything is homemade and sourced from the farm, and portions are generous. The four course Sunday afternoon dinner was an eating experience we will never forget. The family and staff at Regio Tratturo made us feel at home, and we thoroughly enjoyed our...
