Sharing our Tenuta Tegolato experience brings a mixed feeling. On the one hand, this place is simply amazing. On the other hand, it feels like such a hidden gem which should be kept secret to the masses :)

Host Doreen is one of the most amazing hosts we’ve ever met during our holidays. She shows genuine interest and takes all the time to make sure your time at Tenuta will be unforgettable. We stayed with our two young boys (2 and 5) and we all had the best time.

Apartment The apartments are in old Tuscany style, in very good quality and super clean. The beds sleep very well and the kitchen delivers on modern needs.

Compound The land is located on a hill between vineyards, secured by a gate. From the first moment the views of the surrounding hills are stellar. And the garden is suburb and well maintained. We had some nice walks on the grounds and through the vineyards and olive trees.

Swimming pool area One of their best assets. The smaller indoor pool is relatively warm, which was nice during our stay in April. Outdoors the pool is large including a children section. Too cold during our stay, but probably wonderful from May onwards. They also have wellness facilities (sauna and hamam) we didn’t use.

Wine Tenuta grows and bottles their own wines. We had a tasting, arranged by Doreen. Great wines, finger food and talks about the history of the vineyard and wines.

Overall one of our best holiday experiences. Next year...

We had a wonderful stay at Tenuta Tegolato in Tuscany! The villa is surrounded by breathtaking views, the perfect Tuscan countryside escape. The house itself was spacious, beautifully kept, and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The outdoor areas were our favourite — peaceful mornings & and evenings by the pool, BBQ spot for the ones that would love to have a nice time on cooking with, and plenty of space for the family to enjoy. The location is ideal too..close enough to explore nearby towns like Poggibonsi, Siena, and San Gimignano, yet private and quiet for true relaxation.

The hosts were welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was smooth during our stay. Their hospitality and local tips made the experience even more special. 🙏 We left with amazing memories and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic...
