It is located in the northern part of the Dolomites, between the Taibon Agordino and Primiero comunes of Belluno and Trentino. It has an altitude of 3,192 metres. The peak is flanked by that of the Cimon della Pala.

La più alta cima delle Pale di San Martino inserita in un contesto paesaggisticamente spettacolare. Considero l'accesso più emozionante per la Valle di Gares, la Valle delle Comelle, il bivacco Brunner in Val Strut e la semplice ferrata Gabitta d'Ignoti. Sono in tutto 2.000 metri di dislivello. Emozione impagabile....
