We were there in August '21.. Beautiful weather, beautiful sky, absolutely fantastic view down to the city's and especially the water surface of Lago maggiore.. So beautiful up there and peaceful. If you like good views and mountain tops that are not that difficult, I would definitely recommend this place to visit 💯 the Natur is also on another level 😍

NON LASCIATE IL SENTIERO! se non volete ritrovarvi di notte, con la pioggia, in una scarpata, senza saper dove montare la tenda. Fortunatamente da RE un volontario del luogo, che manutiene i sentieri, all'una di notte, ha visto le nostre luci dalla finestra e, sapendo che in qul punto non ci fosse un sentiero, ha deciso di venire a vedere se stessimo bene.

Man wandert lange durch ein bewaldeten Gebiet, sodass der Weg auch bei großer Hitze gut zu machen ist. Die Aussicht ist super und das beste an der Tour ist, dass es oben eine Berghütte mit Betten, duschen, Küche und Verpflegung gibt, in der man gegen ein selbst gewähltes Endgelt ausruhen kann.

Sehr schöne Aussicht. Der Ausblick auf Lago Maggiore ist mega. Super Blick auf Locarno, Ascona, Luino, Cannobio usw. Der Aufstieg ab Brisago ist mit viel Zeit zu planen. Es gibt zwei Aufstiege ab Brisago. Der ab Ponte ist eher lang und nicht so gut ausgebaut wie jener Weg ab mitte Brisago. Man kann mit dem Auto auch bis Mergugno fahren und gratis parkieren. Ab Mergugno ist der Aufstig sehr schön und nur noch 3.5 Std zu laufen. Kleiner Tip, haltet ausschau nach wilde Tiere. Füchse und wer weis, ich hatte...

Probabilmete da qui potete godere del più bel panorama a 360° delle alpi lepontine ticinesi. L'ascesa é facile circa 1200 metri di dislivello su sentiero ben segnalato. Consiglio di effettuare questa gita in autunno quando le giornate sono terse ed i colori particolarmente vividi. L'ascesa invernale con pelli di foca é bella ma non scevra di pericoli le valanghe che si staccano dalla fumadega hanno già causato varie vittime. Se c'é abbastanza neve per arrivare fino al cortaccio la discesa...
