As a mixed German and English couple we decided to get married on neutral ground in beautiful Tuscany. We stumbled across the venue and decided to book the whole place to allow the guests to get to know each other over the four days.||||Safe to say we had an absolutely smashing time, as did all the guests. We booked the place around a year ahead of the event and there was a huge amount to organise (the wedding was for 100 people 75 of which were staying in the venue). We must have exchanged over 100 emails with Elena and Cristina over the course of the year and despite the language barrier, they did everything they could to make sure our day was perfect. They were incredibly patient with us before, during and after the wedding. ||||Of course in an event that lasted 4 days with 100 people there were some challenges along the way, including an unfortunate mix up with one of the suppliers. However, Elena and Cristina helped us through it and we worked out compromises.||||I also have to give a shout out to Elisa, Francesco and team, who were running the restaurant. They did a great job - food (which was a fully vegan menu) and service was spot on. ||||All in all, we had the best few days of our lives and many of our guests were saying the same thing. We've enjoyed the peaceful nature and the beautiful views of Tuscany. |My husband and I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment with ancient wood beamed ceilings. The staff were friendly and helpful. Fresh croissants and traditional Italian bread were delivered to our door every morning in addition to a welcome breakfast left for us in the kitchen (tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, juice, toasts and jam).|On a Sunday evening, they served us dinner with traditional Italian meals, wine, dessert and coffee. It was tasty.|It was possible to rent bikes for a family ride. We saw children of other guests were excited to swim in the swimming pool, and there are swings and even hammocks. |It took us less than 15 min. by car to go to Colle Val d'Elsa.
