Came here some time in June when it was almost summer. Temperature was about 26-27C on the ground. But it was close to zero C at the peak. Was kinda cool to feel the change happening within a half hour.
The trip up is by a 3 stage cable car service taking us to intermediate points where we switch to the next stage. At the 2nd switch point there is a nice cafe with a wonderful view of the area. I recommend at least to have coffee or a meal here. There are souvenir shops on the level as well.
At each change point, one can take pictures of the surrounding area.
The view from the top is breath taking and beautiful. Clouds do sometimes block the view and all we have to do is wait for it to move away. Definitely something for...

The 360-degree observation deck is spectacular! The cable car ride up is interesting and intriguing. Great stop if anywhere near the area. The cafรฉ/bar has good food (service was really slow when our group stopped in) at the 2nd stop, also the bathrooms, museum, and access to some trails with WWI tunnels. Top has the 360 deck where you are right there with Punta Rocca, plus the glacier and all the glory of the Dolomites spreading out...
