Wonderful (and easy) walk with a great view over the mountains: I went there in December 2017 and I could enjoy this panoramic path. In winter, snowshoes are required. We did not find any huts where to eat or have...

Die Rotwand kann man unter Benutzung zweier Klettersteige überschreiten. Nach der Liftfahrt zur Paolinahütte steigt man zum Hirzelweg auf und folgt diesem zur Rotwandhütte. Über dem Masarè-Klettersteig gelangt man in ständigem Auf un ab auf die Rotwand. Über den einfachen Rotwandklettersteig gelangt man zum Vajolonpass. Von hir geht es nach links wieder auf...

Il locale è accogliente pulito. Abbiamo mangiato 2 pastasciutta pessime. Pasta precotta da spaventare con salsiccia e funghi. Pasta troppo al dente slegata con gli ingredienti. Le tagliatelle con il sugo di cervo idem. Buoni i dolci. Forse con i secondi piatti....ma non abbiamo avuto più voglia di mangiare Gentili...

Bel rifugio sul Catinaccio, facilmente raggiungibile con impianti da Carezza e da Vigo di Fassa, punto di partenza per vie attrezzate o trekking più impegnativi. Vista incantevole su tutte le Dolomiti. Cucina ben organizzata con buona scelta, all'interno poco spazio, molti tavoli all'aperto.

Der Steig ist zwar viel besucht und daher zum Teil ein Stück Mensch and Mensch im Drahtseil, aber er ist einer der schönsten im ganzen Bereich. Von der Spitze hat man einen tollen Ausblick über die Sella, zum Monte Cristallo, das Tierser Tal und auch zum Marmolada.
