Amazing adventures with Enrico! He was referred to us originally by friends and so happy they did. Of course he is professional - that was to be expected-but more than that he is gracious and empathetic to the needs of new clients.

He smartly took us on fairly easy Ferrata the first day to gauge our skill level. It was really only our second time so we were certainly newbies. However in rather short order his guidance and teaching ability helped us progress very rapidly. By the end of our 4th day we were doing 3-B level without difficulty.

He would pick us up at our hotel ( we stayed at the Royal Hotel in Cortina - nice enough 3 star ( owner grumpy but rest of staff wonderful) and on the drive to the Ferrata discussions about what to expect and what the plan for the day would be. We were completely taken care of. Of note he also gave great tips on best lunch spot ( Toto) best gelato etc.

We will be back for sure next year and happy to work with him again. Will hope to do uplevels...

I’ve been in loved with mountains since childhood and rock climbing has always been a dream for me; and do it safely it’s a priority. For this reason, I decided to climb together with a wise mountain guide and that's how I met Enrico. To date, Enrico and I have done about fifteen climbs around the Dolomites and in addition to be an excellent Alpine Guide, over time he has also become a dear friend. Climbing with Enrico makes a simple trip to the mountains a wonderful and unforgettable experience. The smiles, the stories told, the breathtaking views, but also, simply a good lunch with a fresh beer after finishing climbing together, are emotions that I will always carry in my heart. Notre séjour dans les Dolomiti était un voyage père-fils que je voulais inoubliable pour tous les deux . Grâce à Enrico, notre guide, le résultat s’est révélé au delà de nos attentes. Mon idée première était de parcourir plusieurs vie ferrate. Dans nos échanges préliminaires par mail, Enrico nous a parfaitement aidés dans le choix d’un hôtel et du matériel nécessaire tout en organisant un premier programme.

Lors de notre première rencontre à l’hôtel, le soir de notre arrivée, Enrico a appris que mon fils de 18 ans pratiquait l’escalade en salle, chose que je n’ai jamais faite. Il nous a alors fait part de sa passion pour l’escalade et nous a proposé de nous initier à l’escalade en milieu naturel. J’avoue que j’étais perplexe et un peu inquiet à cette idée, mais la proposition était vraiment excitante et Enrico était très encourageant.

Le premier jour nous a permis de faire la magnifique Ferrata degli alpini sul Col dei bos. Dès les premiers mètres, nous étions conquis! L’après-midi, Enrico nous a emmenés à la salle d’escalade de Cortina d’Ampezzo et j’ai reçu mon premier cours d’escalade, chacun pouvant ensuite s’entraîner à son rythme.

Le deuxième jour, munis du matériel adéquat, nous nous sommes rendus aux Cinque Torre où nous avons escaladé grâce aux conseils d’Enrico, la quarta basse, la torre inglese et la via « rosa mundi » sur la torre grande ( cima ovest).

Le troisième jour, nous avons parcouru la Ferrata Olivieri jusqu’à la punta Anna. Après une halte rafraîchissante au Rifugio giussani , nous sommes repartis par le Sentiere ferrato Astaldi.

Le quatrième jour fût l’apothéose du séjour avec l’escalade du Spigolo del sass de stria ( via colbertaldo-pezzotti). Ascension superbe , paysages époustouflants!!!

Alors oui, Enrico est un guide extraordinaire, passionné et passionnant, amoureux de ses montagnes natales. Il est doté d’une extrême compétence qui n’a d’égal que son humilité. Mais c’est aussi un homme dont la gentillesse, le calme et les conseils toujours encourageants nous ont permis de nous dépasser et de vivre une expérience rare, sans jamais se sentir en insécurité.
