Straordinario itinerario da passo Falzarego fino a cima Lagazuoi! Ci sono vari modi per salire ( ad esempio la funivia) ma per chi come me ama fare trekking, consiglio di salire per le gallerie e scendere per il sentiero kaisejager! Quindi una volta parcheggiato il mezzo, iniziare il sentiero e andare verso destra! Dopo una risalita a zig zag, tenere la sinistra per il sentiero delle gallerie! Qui è obbligatorio un frontalino per fare luce e dei buoni scarponi da trekking! La galleria è lunga circa 1 km ed è molto umida e i gradoni sono abbastanza impegnativi! Ogni tanto c'è qualche spiraglio nelle pareti che oltre al passaggio dell'aria, permettono di vedere degli scorci mozzafiato! Finito il tunnel, si arriva ad una porticina in legno, che una volta spalancata lascia letteralmente a bocca aperta per il meraviglioso panorama circostante! Da qui si notano facilmente il Pelmo leggermente a sinistra e il Civetta un po' più a destra! Appena si svolta a sinistra per proseguire, ecco che ci appaiono in tutta la loro bellezza le Tofane! Da qui in poi il sole ci accompagna fino al rifugio, passando per una trincea perfettamente restaurata, che ci porta subito al passato dei nostri Alpini in questi luoghi, durante il primo conflitto mondiale! In altri 15 minuti circa si raggiunge la stazione della funivia , dove c'è un bellissimo terrazzo con annesso bar! Pochi metri più in su si raggiunge il vero e proprio rifugio Lagazuoi, dove il panorama da il meglio di sé! Da qui si nota la regina Marmolada e alla sua destra il gruppo del Catinaccio! Poi abbiamo proseguito per la cima, che in pochi minuti si raggiunge e infine scesi dal percorso dei kaisejager! Qui è consigliabile il kit da ferrata per alcuni punti esposti ma suggestivi! Beautiful valley to go skiing, not crowded at all (it's called the hidden valley for a reason). On the main route you have Beautiful mountains and frozen waterfalls on the way. At the end you can get carried back to the Sella region by horse, which is definitely worth it!
