Lido Ficò — Local services in Diso

We had an absolutely wonderful day at Lido Fico. We visited as two families, each with a 1.5-year-old son, and the staff could not have been more accommodating.

From the moment we arrived, the team went out of their way to make us comfortable. They set us up with two sets of sunbeds in a quiet corner, which was perfect for our group. We were also allowed to put up our beach tent for the boys to nap in, which was a huge help. This meant we could actually sit down and enjoy a proper, peaceful lunch right next to our sleeping toddlers—a rare luxury! When one of our sons woke up, the staff kindly reset a place at the table for him so I could feed him his lunch. It’s this kind of thoughtful service that makes all the difference.

Beyond the fantastic staff, the place itself is stunning. The club is set on the softest, most perfect lawn I have ever seen—it was a pleasure to walk on. To access the sea, there is a well-maintained boardwalk that leads you over the rocks.

A couple of things to note for families with very young children: getting into the water can be tricky when it's wavy, and because of the rocky entry, it isn't an ideal spot for toddlers to splash around and swim. Lido Fico is truly a special place. The only struggle with Fico is the extremely limited parking (but this is the issue in all of Salento, so nothing against Fico!). I adore the dramatic walk down to the lido and restaurant and the Kiasmo design.

The lido is so unique with real grass instead of stone or sand. I am a big fan of the ability to press a button at your lettino that calls the servers. Also, no need to worry about paying each time (you checkout at the end).

The water at Lido Fico is stunning. The entry point is well kept and provides ease of access to the majestic azzurro colored sea. It is never crowded and always provides peace and tranquility!

The food (by Farmacia dei Sani) is top notch. Elevated lido cuisine that highlights the flavors of Salento. I can’t wait to go back next summer for more delicious food.

Even the bar area has fabulous food and drink. I particularly loved the Nocciolino (nocciola gelato with caffè 😋).

We stopped here by chance on our last day in Puglia. After a week filled with many of these “lido’s”, this is BY FAR the best we came across - even comparing with other allegedly premium locations where beds go for 60/80 euros a day, this is a winner on every front. The service is spotless and we finally felt cared for, the location is insane, the grass on the ground a very nice touch, the quiet area a winner. Genuinely would come back over and over again.

As others say, the wifi is indeed poor and sloppy throughout the place - all the more reasons to leave the phone tucked away and enjoy the view

Access to the sea can be a bit challenging, and we unfortunately got here on a windy day but had we been on a calmer day, I’m sure it would have been a lot more manageable
