Bau Bau Beach Village — Local services in Eboli

We visited the place after our tour to poseidonia, because we were looking for a nice place to swim and so we checked with Google maps.. We parked our car and went to the beach.. The beach is mediocre at best and the sea is like... Well it's colour is grey-brown... No same human can swim there.. But that's not it... Because the parking lot had no signs, some guy from the staff apparently, came amd told us to take the car from the parking, we tried to make arrangement for our staying there but he didn't care. He just wanted us off.. Then when we reached the parking a lady came and started shouting Italian at us, we told her that we dont speak Italian and she kept in shouting, making rude gestures. In fondo per la sintesi! Il miglior luogo dove potersi rilassare in compagnia del proprio amico a 4 zampe. I SERVIZI PER IL CANE sono completi, vi è la possibilità di acquistare in loco i prodotti necessari alla cura e al lavaggio da effettuare nelle vasche dedicate correlate da apposito phon. Non da poco l'organizzazione della disposizione dei cani, divisi in base a razza, età e temperamento, in modo da trovarsi a proprio agio tra gli altri animali evitando possibili litigate che possono infastidire il vostro relax. Inoltre ogni postazione ha un paletto dedicato al quale fissare eventualmente il guinzaglio. Le regole della spiaggia vi vengono spiegate in loco, ma c'è possibilità di far giocare e ovviamente di far fare un tuffo in mare al vostro amico a quattro zampe. Possibilità di effettuare INGRESSI GIORNALIERI, quindi senza la necessità di alloggiare all'interno del villaggio. ALLOGGI vivibili, ben fatti e a 10 metri dal mare (non 100, proprio 10) tutti con terrazzino recintato. Bar e possibilità di ordinare pranzo e cena tramite la CUCINA del villaggio che presenta anche forno a legna e pizzeria della quale però non è ben chiara l'organizzazione in quanto quest'ultima non è sempre attiva. Il villaggio, non molto lontano dal centro città, è SITUATO tra la spiaggia e una immensa PINETA dove fare infinite passeggiate col vostro cane e rilassarvi su amache o veri e propri letti messi a disposizione degli ospiti. Questa caratteristica dona una spiccata tranquillità al villaggio, nel quale L'ANIMAZIONE manca per salvaguardare la tranquillità degli animali, e in unione alla quasi totale assenza di campo per ogni gestore telefonico favorisce il relax, un po'meno il divertimento dei bambini.

Very nice area, but I didn’t find it very dog friendly. Most of the dogs were on leashes, which made them aggressive and protective of their territory. This made the dogs distant, not playing with each other and us, the owners, stressed that we had to watch the dog at all times. We’ve been to other, even bigger Bau beaches where the dogs weren’t allowed on leashes and had no problems. I felt as if this beach is more a beach for people where dogs are allowed, than a beach designed for dogs, where they can have fun.
