Posto bellissimo, in qualsiasi stagione dell'anno, ideale per sfuggire al caldo e all'afa di questi giorni. Già è la quarta volta che salgo in cima, da dove si può osservare il panorama della Sicilia a 360°,condizioni atmosferiche permettendo. Ad est si può osservare l'Etna(3357mslm), a sudovest, il Monte Cammarata(1578mslm),ad ovest la Rocca Busambra(1613msl), mentre a nordovest si può osservare il il Golfo di termini Imerese, fino a Palermo, e se la visibilità è davvero ottimale, l'isola di Ustica, a nord è visibile la costa tirrenica di Cefalù ed a nordest sono...

The view wasn't really good at this time in March, but it was a nice experience. We had snow on Pizzo Carbonara in the morning and sunshine in Cefalù after lunch.

Superbe randonnée! La carte indiquait 7 heures de randonnée au total mais nous en avons mis 5. Nous avons fait 2 heures pour la montée et 2 heures pour la descente, sans compter les pauses. Le parcours est très bien renseigné à travers des indications sur les rochers. Durant la randonnée, vous allez rencontrer des paysages magnifiques mais surtout des animaux (biches, cerfs, taureau, vaches). Je recommande vivement cette randonnée pour les amoureux des montagnes.

Druhá nejvyšší hora Sicílie je hlavně super pro milovníky výšlapu na nejvyšší hory - vzhledem k tomu, že na Etnu až na vrchol se nedostanete. Tura není dlouhá, zabrala nám od parkoviště dvě hodiny (chodíme ale relativně rychle). Výhled z Carbonara na všechny strany včetně na Liparské ostrovy.

Druhá nejvyšší hora Sicílie je hlavně super pro milovníky výšlapu na nejvyšší hory - vzhledem k tomu, že na Etnu až na vrchol se nedostanete. Tura není dlouhá, zabrala nám od parkoviště dvě hodiny (chodíme ale relativně rychle). Výhled z Carbonara na všechny strany včetně na Liparské ostrovy.
