Couldn't imagine a better host than Dario and his family. Dario really puts his heart and soul into every detail at this Agritourism. You recognize quite quickly that he really loves what he is doing and he'll let you be a part of it for the whole time you stay at this awesome spot. The site around the building is full of olive trees, grape vine and other fruits and vegetabels. And you have the most beautiful view over the landscape of tuscany - not only from the point of the pool. A perfect place to calm down, drink wine and have good food. The building itself is very cozy and comfy and the surrounding invites you to day trips to either common tourist spots like Florence or smaller villages nearby. I really recommend the Chianti area. There is a lot to explore in the beautiful little towns there. So what more to say? Get your own impression and visit Dario and his family! Every second will be more than worth it. We have definitely enjoyed our stay in the villa at Fattoria La Luna. We felt very welcome and Dario was allways nearby to help us out when needed. We could really count on him. The children referred to him as 'our friend Dario'. And it was a relief that he spoke English (fluently) Due to the covid-19 situation we have spent most of our time at the domaine at the pool area (with a view). There was also a playroom where we have played several games of tabel football with the kids. Dario organized 2 amazing Italian dinners (also with a view) and a wine tasting. We have also enjoyed the freshly picked vegetables very much. Our children are now motivated to start a kitchen garden of their own. The villa itself was authentic. It felt like living in a museum. There were only 2 negatives. The highway was nearby and sometimes the noice bothered us (especially after the crickets went to sleep) and in the kitchen there was a limited amount of hot water. Our apartment in the beautiful building of the Agriturismo was comfortably furnished with beautiful antique furniture. In the garden and on the terrace you can relax and enjoy the all day long. From the garden and the terrace you have a fantastic view over a small valley with olive groves and vineyards and see the sunset. Their own wine and olive oil give the stay perfect finish .
