Wonderful island, like scene for Jurassic park movie! Well worth to climb to Gran Cratere, it’s not so difficult as it might look, we (family with children of 9 and 11) reached the top in 45 min. On the way down you deserve pastries, ice cream and coffee at Il Gelato di Antonio - all so good! If you go to swim in Spiaggia delle Acque Calde, wear a mask as you can observe bubbles coming out of the bottom of the sea. If you have doubts how to organize the trip to Vulcano, we had it too, but we asked locals at Milazzo port for advice. Here it is: park your car at Garage delle Isole and they offer shuttle bus directly to ticket office for hydrofoil. All included in the price of parking - 12 eur for one day. Just make sure that you return until 8 pm when they close. Very convenient! On the way back the shuttle bus was already...

Vulcano Island is definitely worth a visit as a day trip from the mainland. Our main trip was for the mudbaths. The smell is strong and does stay with you for days! Do not wear any silver. Even after showering and putting on my bracelet it was discolored. The mud baths are definitely a 12+ activity as the water in places can be scalding for the feet. Children younger can go in but I do not recommend it. There are lockers but falling apart so I just kept my bags with me. Shower facilities and change rooms are fine. The beach we went to close to the city was great and had a geyser which our boys loved. Book your ticket with liberty lines directly online to avoid lineups. We spent in total about 5 hours but you could spend longer if you went for a hike and rented a jeep for touring...

Risposta: 15 euro (ps: docce fredde a pagamento a parte ovviamente..).

We went to the mud bath and it wasn't so bad but it was not hot ss I expected it to be. It was around 25° to 30° Celsius in the places without the volcano bubble and in the places where the bubble are maybe up to 100° Celsius but when you just sit beside it it will be perfect. Also there is the volcano smell I like but you shouldn't inhale too much of, it might make you feel dizzy. There was also an entrance to the sea and it was really cold there but when you reach the place where the bubbles are, it is just perfect there.

No he visto nada parecido en mi vida.
