We enjoy walking to our destinations when on holiday and White beach (which it isn't!) was somewhere we fancied having a dip for an hour. It is a very steep walk down on a loose sand track to the beach. The beach attendant pounced on us as soon as we got down to the beach. The beach is typical of the island and is large to very large pebbles and large pebbles to boulders in the water. He asked if we wanted the free beach, we said yes, he then directed us to the scrag end 10m section of the 100m beach and said be careful of the falling rocks.. My guess is the full beach is free, they just don't want you anywhere near their sun loungers and parasols, they even put a demarcation float line in the bay so you know to keep away from their side. There are lots of 5* reviews I see for this place.. somehow I suspect many are false after reading lesser reviews.

Great beach. The staff are really friendly. For 30€ you are able to rent 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for the day. We arrived in the early afternoon, and without asking they reduced the price for us. Also, in this price they include shoes, an inflatable matress for the water, as well as a few others. There is also a climbing wall and a trampoline in the sea that is all free to use. There is a bar and restaurant. Even when the restaurant was closed they offered to make a salad for us. Toilets are also available. If you plan on coming here, i recommend you take the boat service from Lipari directly to the beach. It is only 8€ per person for a return. Access otherwise is not easy! (A long steep sand slope not open to vehicles!)

The best access is by boat from Lipari or Canneto. The umbrella and sunbeds have very good quality . The prices are average, concerning the region and vacation season. Also possible make on-line reservation on advance! There is a beach bar and a very good restaurant. The restaurant itself opens at 13.00 hrs. All the fun-accessories like paddle board, shoes or mask for diving are included in price. The beach is stony and slowly comes to...
