Fattoria La Prugnola - Farmhouse in Tuscany — Local services in Montescudaio

We stayed at the beautiful Fattoria two times with our four children between the ages of 5 and 11. We stayed in Gli Ulivi and I Noci. Both houses were large enough for 6 persons as you wont spend too much tim inside the house anyway...except for the kitchen that is.||The houses are very well equipped and clean...believe it or not my wife did NOT clean the house when we arrived. Even she said everything was neat and clean.||The whole site is just breathtaking. Every house has been built / renovated with passion and love and the kids can play there.||To be honest staying at the Fattora for two weeks only would have been enough for us. lying in front of the houses enjoying the atmosphere, reading, relaxing...||But the kids begged to differ. Thats the next positive aspect. Montescudaio is just a 20 minutes ride away from Cecina and the beautiful seaside. Whoever said that you cant have seaside-holidays in Tuscany hasn't been there for sure.||The whole family is just so lovely and friendly and helpful. There was not one single problem that wasn't solved. Especially the two great sisters Marina and Barbara can give you helpful hints and they are alway there to chat.||Don't forget to book the breakfast as well. Whoever said Italians don't know how to breakfast hasn't been to the Fattoria. Local products, regional dishes, sweets, awesome coffee...you name it. The days started perfect looking at the sea and enjoying the little cakes.||- Don't forget to visit the close restaurants especially the one with the vegetarian menu which isnt cheap but has an enchanted garden were they pick all their vegetables.||- Don't forget to just have a stroll through the hills...just a...

This year we started a bit late to think about our summer holidays and we felt lucky when we got the last Yurt available.||But then, when we got there... wow, we felt even more lucky, what a nice surprise!||we did not know exactly what to expect with this Glamping stuff but it turned out that it is the perfect combination for my desire to live again the camping experiences of my youth and for my husband to have privacy and comfort (and own bathroom... that was a big big plus even for a die hard camping fan like me!)||The Yurt Fiordaliso is so charming. It was perfect for us traveling with two kids of 6 and 3. They loved it too! and they loved that they could move around the glamping free and even go alone to the breakfast area La Locanda: so safe and homey it feels there.||The breakfast is included in the price and this is very convenient and also a nice way to interact with other people (made some good friends there... this is the magic of the camping). Very useful the tips about the eating places (mmmm...the Apericena at "la serra del pino") and the best butcher in town for one of the best BBQ's ever (my husband still dreaming of that juicy fiorentina...)||Last but not least: never a dull moment in montescudaio! each day we had a different activity in the surrounding (sea, city-trip, just handing around...): just perfect for our family. we definitely recommend this place and hope to get lucky again!||||Marina and Barbara, thank you for being so friendly and welcoming: it feels just good! ||Take care, Irene and Stephan...

We stayed in here whilst exploring Montescudaio and the Pisa Province of Tuscany.||We stayed in La Vinstantia, which was a beautiful and quaint 2 person cottage situated next to the main house. The cottage had everything we needed - a fridge, cooker, good sized wardrobe and pots and pans etc... and was beautifully presented.||Location-wise, the accommodation is situated just 1 minute outside Montescudaio so ideal for getting to and from the town and to venture off to the wider area.||Check in and check out was all very smooth.||The only slight complaint would be that the shower in the cottage was very poor (one of those ones which just trickles water) and we also couldn't log into the wi-fi.
