From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty and tranquility of I Pianelli. We stayed there for a whole week in July. With 8 and 11 year old kids, we thought the place was just perfect.||||The room was big, comfortable, extremely clean and well equipped. We had 2 bedrooms with a big kitchen and small sofa area. Wifi access was good within the apartment (one room had better reception than the other) and was excellent outside in the grounds.||There is a small football field where my son had great fun every morning shooting to the goals. The swimming pool area is big, comfortable, very short walk to the apartments and with plenty of natural shade with several trees. there were 5 families at one time and we all had some privacy and a nice spot with shade to be at without being to close to each other. The pool is big, clean and fresh - we loved it ! All this with great views of Tuscany.||||We chose to have breakfast included and it was served in a lovely common room, with simple and delicious local things - we really appreciated it and Francesco was great with our breakfast !||||Our only comment would be that a fan would add to the comfort of our stay... even though we kept shutters closed during the day, some nights were still a bit hot for us that are used to A/c. Maybe a ceiling or even pedestal fan would have made everything perfect !||||We did day trips to several Tuscan towns and left Murlo itself for the last day, not expecting much - it turned out to be a great surprise - although it is very small, it is such a charming walled town !! I highly recommend a visit !||||All in all we had a great time and would love to come...

Just got back in The Netherlands after spending a week at I Pianelli in Murlo with my mother. At first I was doubtful to review this agriturismo online, not because of it's lack of quality however....It's just an unwillingness to share this gem with the rest of the world. I've seen a fair share of beautiful places, great hosts and amazing scenery, but I Pianelli is definitely in my top three. Mario and his son are invisible most of the time, except when you need their help. They are friendly and easygoing, and calming as the scenery that surrounds you. The apartments are decorated with love and the cleanest I have ever come across. The estate is rugged and lovely all at the same time with a perfect sense of privacy. Deer, wild boar, birds of prey and squirrels all around, combined with olive trees, woodland, hills and small streams. If you are looking for that special piece of heaven on earth, you should definitely visit this Agriturismo, for that is where...
