We went when it was storming so we didn't get the full experience (for example, a ride on the ferris wheel) but the owner and people that worked there were one of the friendliest people that I have ever met! We were given free drinks and snacks to make up for not being able to ride the ferris wheel. AND, because we didn't have a car and were taking public transportation, the owner was AMAZING enough to drive us to the train station during the inclement weather.

This was my first ever time in Italy and second ever time traveling internationally. The weather alone could make any trip miserable. But the wonderful people who worked here made our day, maybe even our week. Coming to il Campo di Federica is a reminder that it's never where you are, it's who you're with. Ho temporeggiato diversi week end prima di venire, le recensioni che avevo letto qui non mi avevano convita, infatti avevo scelto altre aziende che proponevano la stessa cosa anche per meno di 20 EUR. Alla fine, complice un bellissimo e caldo mercoledì pomeriggio ci siamo avventurati! E sono pienamente soddisfatta! 19.50 Euro spesi ben volentieri. La parte ricreativa “Pumpkin patch” consiste di passare nel campo di zucche, sceglierla e poi spostarsi a lato dove son ben disposti le postazioni per intagliare e decorare a piacere la propria zucca. Tutto il materiale necessario è messo a disposizione dall’azienda. Una volta finito il lavoretto, in attesa che la pittura si asciughi si può andare dall’altra parte della strada dove si trova un “villaggio” allestito a tema di zucche. Devo ammettere che l’area dedicata è suggestiva e veramente ben, ben, ben curata. Considerato che non è la loro attività principale durante l’anno complimenti ragazzi, davvero ottimo lavoro! Sono rimasta sorpresa, anche le bambine (8 anni) erano stupite dalla magnificenza del posto. Era tutto un “WOW!”, “guarda qui!”, “ma come hanno fatto?!”. Mentre ero in coda per prendere bibite e merende le bimbe sono andate in giro in tutta sicurezza ad ammirare gli allestimenti, farsi le foto, salutare gli animali (maiali, oche e galline), ci sono a disposizione tavolini e sedie per prendersi una pausa in questo posto incantevole e assaggiare i dolci preparati con cura e buonissimi!! Ci tengo a ringraziare Federica per avermi regalato del tempo di qualità con mia figlia e la sua amichetta (che si è sentita super fortunata di aver vissuto questa esperienza e di averla condivisa con la sua carissima amica), le ho aiutate a intagliare, a svuotarle, sentivo le loro idee, la loro fantasia viaggiare! Personalmente trovo che il prezzo sia adeguato nonostante anche gli adulti paghino anche solo per accompagnare i bambini. Infatti non è forse vero che quando si portano i bambini ai parchi divertimenti anche gli adulti sono paganti? Che vogliano o no possono andare sulle giostre comunque! In ogni caso si può sempre scegliere la propria zucca e portarsela a casa, magari i bambini avranno piacere di rifare lo stesso lavoretto.
