The rudest staff I’ve ever come across, avoid at all costs! We came here on a bank holiday Monday so the restaurant was quite busy but we had booked a table for 14:30. We arrived 15 minutes before and ended up waiting until after 15:00 to be seated. The staff asked us to wait on the side where there was little space and then ironically one waiter told my partner rudely he was ‘constantly in the way’. A couple entered the restaurant about half an hour after us and then attempted to request the table that we had asked the staff for. We sat down at the table and the lady from the couple came up to ask us why we felt entitled to sit there which I found rude and entitled from her part. I explained we had a table booked and had been waiting half an hour longer than them. Then even more rude and bizarre the staff then came to our table and told us to get up and that the couple were going to sit there. We ended up just leaving the restaurant after that, sadly being after 15:15 at that point no where was serving lunch anymore. I understand that the staff were probably stressed and busy but I don’t think we or anyone else deserved to be spoken to or treated like that. Never had such an experience in the hospitality industry in which I’ve also worked myself. Premetto che sono uno che si lamenta veramente di rado Però, mi son ritrovato davanti ad un posto che penso sia parecchio disorganizzato Verso le 13.15 siamo arrivati lì, abbiamo chiesto se potessimo mangiare e ci hanno chiesto di aspettare fino alle 14.15 circa. Nel frattempo, ci siamo fermati al bar che si trova proprio lì vicino e abbiamo fatto un aperitivino giusto per far passare il tempo . Arrivati a quell'ora, mi sono presentato puntuale ma ci han chiesto di aspettare Attendo altri 20 minuti, ed un altro cameriere ci ha detto che ci avrebbe liberato un posto. Abbiamo aspettato un ulteriore quarto d'ora, abbiam visto due famiglie arrivare ed entrare tranquillamente e allora ho deciso di avvicinarmi di nuovo e, sempre con toni garbati, ho chiesto se ci fosse un tavolo dato che ci avevano rassicurati che per le 14.15-30 circa, avremmo potuto sederci per mangiare. Erano già due volte che mi affacciamo alla sala ed avevo già notato che c'erano ben 4 tavoli liberi. Alla fine, ne hanno pulito uno e finalmente ci han fatto sedere. Menù, molto caro. Però i piatti erano buoni Piuttosto, il posto (essendo sulla spiaggia) è parecchio spartano Altra nota negativa è che hanno lasciato entrare un cane di taglia grossa e con il vento che soffiava forte, ho notato come i suoi peli volassero per terra e non solo. Non mi danno fastidio gli animali ma certe situazioni o scene, non sono piacevoli mentre uno pranza o cena. Comunque i piatti erano buoni. Servizio comunque veloce al tavolo. Peccato...

Dal lettino alla tavola: mare e buona cucina

Stabilimento balneare con ristorante situato all’inizio della spiaggia della Feniglia, facilmente raggiungibile e con possibilità di parcheggio a pagamento (10 € al giorno). Il 29 agosto abbiamo trascorso un’intera giornata: 2 lettini e 1 ombrellone per 27 €, un prezzo davvero onesto!

Per quanto riguarda il ristorante, il pranzo con vista mare è stato molto piacevole. Abbiamo iniziato con un polpo e patate da condividere: buono, anche se a nostro avviso poteva essere preparato meglio. A seguire, due spaghetti alle vongole davvero deliziosi (se non amate il peperoncino, conviene specificarlo al momento dell’ordine). Da sottolineare la generosità delle porzioni, abbondanti e soddisfacenti. Per dessert abbiamo scelto una panna cotta all’arancia e un semifreddo in bicchiere con crema al cocco e mango. Il conto totale è stato di 70 €, una cifra forse un po’ alta considerando la tipologia dei piatti.
