Elba Golf Club Acquabona — Local services in Portoferraio

If you come to Elba with clubs, you want/must play here. This is not about top quality course, this is about atmosphere why I play golf. You want to challenge yourself and I can tell you all par 3 will bring it to you. Just go and enjoy. You can usually come and play. If rain starts you can come back next day and finish your round. Of course fairways could have better quality and whole course better serviced. I can confirm that flags for foot golf are misleading. We were not informed about them and especially at hole 1 I didn't check where is the green and made a wrong approach. Greens are small but good. Very friendly staff, we were told we can play after 9 holes the upper 3 holes again without extra. Greenfee adequate. Overall we spent here...

Aquabona ist ein 9-Loch-Platz mit ca. 7 eher einfachen Bahnen und zwei schönen Höhenabschlägen, die nicht ganz so einfach sind. Hindernisse sind vor allem die Bäume und zahlreiche Bunker, die allerdings nicht allzu schwierig zu bewältigen sind . Das weitaus Beste an der Anlage ist das überaus freundliche Personal! Alle bemühen sich, den Aufenthalt für die Gäste so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Damen sind hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, Giovanni, der Chef, ist stets gutgelaunt, wenn er mit seinem Roller über den Platz brettert. Wir hatten ein kleines Abonnement, das uns für sieben Runden 190€ pro Person gekostet hat.Da es an einem Tag ein paar Tropfen geregnet hat, hätten wir eine weitere Runde kostenlos bekommen. Da gibt es anderswo andere Preise - ein wunderbarer Cappuccino und ein wohlschmeckender Cafelatte wurden übrigens mit zusammen 3€ berechnet! Insgesamt eine ausgesprochen...
