Rifugio Fedaia — Local services in Rocca Pietore

I arrived when group of guests was leaving sometimes after 16:30. They did not let me use the toilet “only for guests” even when I offered to buy something with card, since they only accepted 1 euro cash payment for the toilet. 🤯 I spend next 30 minutes waiting for pickup in front of this restaurant wanting to pee and writing this review.

I hope at least one person reads this and spends their money elsewhere since there are many places here with great service but obviously this is not one of them.

UPDATE - after reading reply from the owner - yes I did offered to buy something BEFORE your waiter showed with his finger to the toilet and told me I can ONLY pay in cash 1 euro for the toiled, to which I have replied that I do not have any cash and he shrugged. He did not offered me the option to pay for something else and stay inside so you are lying. Maybe teach him better...

Rifugio only by name. They had problem with injured person (with a suspected broken arm) and 3 friends waiting for help and transport to clinic in so called rifugio. They couldn't understand that we wasn't in the mood, being busy getting help and worried about friend, to order drinks or snacks. They didn't care about injured person, didn't help or call Mountain Rescue. When we asked them to call for help they told us to call 118 instead of calling local emergency department themself (I can only assume that refugio has direct contact). This led to extended waiting time which neither we or the staff wanted.

Edit after answer: I didn't notice that woman behind the bar is pregnant. Knowing this, I would have talked to someone else so as not to upset her. Sorry about that. Still, everything i said or wrote is valid.

As for the transportation - that was one of options proposed by...

Run by sociopaths, with zero empathy. Will try to force a person with broken arm to order food or drink or quote: "He can wait outside", when waiting for transport to clinique. The place was not full and temperatures where below zero. Edit after answer: Expecting a injured person in pain to order snacks clearly shows lack of empaty. And we paid for toilet and water(why would you order something more from People who are clearly hostile), technicly making us your clients. We sat beside second (2seated)table only for a moment. This table was empty whole...
