Guest beware. This place may give you the authentic Tuscan experience but the fact is prepare to be HOT. Only great about his place is outside of the property- The views were picturesque. These property managers have several properties that they group the descriptions and the listing into one. I attached pictures below that are circled that are NOT part of the Le villa which now they differentiating. You arrive, and sorry unfortunately you picked the wrong one, this expensive place doesn't have AC.,....And its your fault for their misrepresentation and false advertisement so unfortunately sorry no refund. We originally booked this on booking.com and it was listed with AC (see below picture) and additional apartments included in the rental. The villa does NOT have AC, and doesn't include the apartment (where the AC was located, supposedly). Even though the villa purchased us some portable AC's for the bedrooms, they were not properly installed and mosquitos got in. See pictures below on our special accommodation... Also I may add that we asked for our money back immediately upon arrival, called booking about this, and they denied it and accommodated us with make-shift fixes that barely worked. When you have a really old house that has possibly 20 foot ceillings it takes much more than that to cool it. We did have to leave them running constantly to feel a difference at night. Neither booking or property managers took accountability. We felt duped for 8K for 5 nights. Casavecchia was a very very very hot experience in an very very very old house. Barely stayed in the house, because my small children. I would NOT recommend in the summer or anytime because of the misrepresentations we experienced. It makes me sad writing this because we were so excited to experience this place. Especially at the price we paid, yea no way. I'll stay in a much cheaper option with AC....

This retreat in Tuscany was the trip of a lifetime for my mom and me! Everything was well organized by our tour guides, Tom and Mihir — all the tours, transportation, and tickets were included, which made it stress-free, and each day was filled with incredible experiences. We started each morning with yoga led by Giorgia (she was amazing, and it was such a beautiful way to begin the day!), followed by unforgettable activities like a pasta-making class, exploring olive oils and wines, and even making pizza in a wood-fired oven. The food was exclusively vegetarian, deliciously prepared, and the farm-fresh eggs were seriously the best eggs I've ever had. Casavecchia’s tranquil countryside setting, the rustic charm of the villa, and the breathtaking view from our room created the perfect calm and relaxed atmosphere my mother and I needed for our retreat. The family hosting us was the sweetest! We enjoyed meeting Nick, Judi, Filippo, and Michele, and the children were adorable — it truly felt like we were welcomed into their home. With the stunning Chianti landscape, soothing massages, and the laughter shared with my mom and new friends from around the world, this retreat was truly magical. We'll cherish these memories forever and highly recommend...

Our stay at this magical estate in Tuscany was nothing short of a dream! Nestled among endless olive groves, the property offers breathtaking views and enchanting sunsets, perfect to enjoy with a slice of homemade pizza and a glass of local wine. Every moment here felt special.

The highlight for me was the beautiful yoga studio, which was seamlessly connected to our apartment — ideal for morning practice surrounded by serenity and nature. This makes the estate a perfect destination for retreats or larger groups looking to immerse themselves in the Tuscan countryside.

Whether you prefer to self-cater or have a private chef prepared by the family, you’ll have the best of both worlds. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of the family who own this estate. Their passion for the property and deep love for Tuscany shone through in every interaction. They provided us with wonderful recommendations for local hidden gems and restaurants, making us feel right at home.

We fell in love with this place so much that we’re already planning our trip back next year! If you’re looking for a slice of Tuscan paradise, this is where...

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this Tuscany Villa, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for the perfect retreat spot! Just 20 minutes outside of Florence, this enchanting villa offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city while still being close to all sights. The villa itself is a picturesque haven surrounded by the stunning Tuscan landscape. It's an ideal location to host a yoga retreat or any other kind of wellness retreat, with plenty of space to relax, meditate, and reconnect with nature. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating experience. What truly sets Villa Casavecchia apart is the incredibly kind and welcoming family who runs it. We just want to say Thank You! Whether you're planning to host a yoga retreat, a creative workshop, or simply looking to unwind in a tranquil setting with your family, Villa Casavecchia is the ideal choice. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and eager to return. Five stars all the way!

We stayed at Villa Casavecchia last year for 10 days. We go to Italy often and this, without doubt, was the best. The apartment we stayed in was clean, kitchen with everything we needed. Even a first day ‘started kit with all the essentials before your first grocer shop ) which is a 4 minute drive away). The hosts popped in regularly to check on us and we are now all firm friends for life. We cannot recommend this Villa highly enough. Apart from the apartments there is also the most stunning main house that sleeps, I think, upto 12 people. The views over Tuscany , especially the sunsets, are beautiful. 20 minutes out of Florence, up in the hills where life is a lot slower, more peaceful, after a full day sightseeing the most stunning city in Italy. The whole experience was delightful. If you’re going to Italy make this part of your itinerary. You cannot go wrong .
