GROM — Local services in Territorio Val d'Adige

I want to like this gelateria more then I do... but it just doesn't do it for me. I have now come here on two separate occasions, and between my wife and I we have tried eight different flavors, and unfortunately none of them have appealed to us. I appreciate the fact that the gelato is made with all natural ingredients, and this is evident as soon as you taste the first bite, but just because the ingredients are all natural doesn't mean that the gelato tastes good. For example, the Cafe flavor tastes like you have bitten into a coffee bean, make the gelato overpowering. I will come back to Grom again in order to taste the fruit flavors, as all natural fruit gelato has a certain appeal to it, but other than that there are too many excellent alternatives in Trento to be enjoyed.

The experience with the quality of the ice wasn't bad at all. But the experience with the employee was not good. There was no decent welcome. I asked to serve the nougat first, with a please. I needed to choose al the flavours first. So I ordered the nougat and than the vanilla flavour. She was putting the vanilla first on the cone. Probably the vanilla ice is cheaper to make. To begin with I love Grom ice cream, I often buy it and I sometimes have a cup of coffee in this shop. The staff is usually kind and helpful. Yesterday I wanted to try hot chocolate there.
