The pizza bases are so good. All you have to do is top them with tomato sauce, some mozz, some olive oil then chuck it in the oven to bake & voilà you have a fresh "homemade" pizza for the yeastily challenged, like me (every time I made pizza it's always a hard baked biscuit).

The common faint beef fat smell in the bakery section is just lard. Beware, some of the breads have lard in the ingredients as "strutto". That's why you get that funky beef fat smell.

The staff in the bakery section can be very rude & rushed in a racist way when you're trying to buy a delicious looking pastry & want to ask if a certain ingredient is present for example, even if you're speaking Italian. I won't bother again & will stick to the prepackaged pastries whose ingredients I can read in peace without annoyance.

Some of the cashiers are racist and I mean openly. I remember packing my purchases after paying an elderly grey-haired female cashier.

She thought I didn't understand Italian & starting chatting with the next customer in Italian about too many foreigners in Trento (I'm a student), even though these foreigners she doesn't like always spend a lot of time & money buying so much food & stuff often at these supermarkets. Not so slick!

Because of incidents like these, I always use the self-checkout. I'm bad at maths & using cash at the self checkouts helps me practice my maths skills and use up all those coins. But the racist staff love to monitor me all the time at the self-checkout, breathing down my neck, instead of everyone else.

Pharmacy: I don't recommend this pharmacy. Get your medicines elsewhere. I bought a cough syrup after specifically asking for a cough syrup without alcohol. The pharmacist insisted that the one she gave me was alcohol-free. I asked to check the ingredients, she said it's alcohol-free. I went home and the cough syrup was NOT alcohol free. Anche se dopo la ristrutturazione il negozio risulta senz'altro più moderno (secondo me è comunque cupo e poco illuminato), nella "nuova coop" la scelta dei prodotti si è letteralmente dimezzata. Penalizzato tantissimo il reparto pasticceria che, a mio parere, era il fiore all'occhiello del negozio e richiamava molti clienti. Ridotto all'osso anche il reparto gastronomia: poche cose, tutte già confezionate in contenitori di plastica come i polli che prima si acquistavano ancora caldi e ora mi fanno tristezza! Rimpiccioliti anche il banco del pane e la pescheria. Enorme lo spazio riservato ai vini e agli alcolici, secondo me troppo, ma essendo astemia probabilmente sono di parte! Per finire, ridotta anche la scelta tra i surgelati dove noto l'assenza di prodotti che prendevo abitualmente. Insomma, io che frequentavo il negozio da tanti anni, ora non riesco più a farci una spesa completa, un po' perchè non trovo quello che cerco e un po' perchè non mi va giù di non avere una gamma di prodotti e fasce prezzo tra cui scegliere. Supermercato molto grande fornito, il parcheggio è comodo e molto grande, forse rispetto alla concorrenza i prezzi stanno aumentando troppo. La parafarmacia all’interno è molto comoda peccato che una delle farmaciste faccia credere ai clienti di dover pagare necessariamente al suo banco i prodotti farmaceutici (probabilmente prende una percentuale sulle vendite). È successo più di una volta che fermasse me o la mia famiglia davanti a tutti dicendo che si doveva pagare lì piuttosto che in cassa come se qualcuno stesse rubando quando la realtà è che i prodotti della parafarmacia si possono pagare in un unico conto con la spesa alla cassa del supermercato. Il problema non è che lei prenda la percentuale sulle vendite ma il fatto che ti faccia sentire a disagio davanti a tutti facendoti credere che tu stia facendo una cosa sbagliata quando sa perfettamente che non è così.
