Me and my friend speak no Italian and ended up here and had a great private tour from the guide, Antonio. He used google translate to give us a private tour and tell us about the site so we could understand - super interesting site with rich history from Greek to Norman times. I wish we could’ve communicated to the hosts how much we appreciated their hospitality. Antonio gave us great lunch recommendations in town too - will definitely come back once we have the chance to learn some Italian.
One note- when getting off at the Tues exit KEEP GOING STRAIGHT WHEN YOU SEE THE BLACK HORSE. google maps will tell you to turn right and it is the bumpiest most overgrown road you’ll ever drive - there was a loose bull on it...
