If you visit this area of Italy, you absolutely need to book a day at this spa. The historic building is lovely and peaceful, and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate. We waited too long to book an appointment, but Erica was kind enough to stay late to let us enjoy the steam cave and the thermal bath. She was an absolute delight and made sure we were happy. I highly recommend Terme Bagno Bernabò. This area is known for its mineral baths so a visit to Bagni di Lucca isn't completed without a visit...

We visited Bernabo' this week with my parents-in-law and we all loved it. Not only the service was excellent but the premises were beautiful. After an hour and half drive from Florence through misty hill country, it was great to find this old-time hot spring. First we had a very good massage, then the steam grotto and finally we lay in a big tub of natural mineral bath flowing from the earth below. Afterwards, we felt so relaxed and refreshed. Truly...

I knew there were thermal baths in Bagni di Lucca. It took a little effort to find them, but it was we worth it. I enjoyed four sessions consisting of a 20 minute bath followed by a 40 minute massage. VERY RELAXING. The massage therapist really worked on my back , and gave me exercises, which really helped. Receptionist spoke excellent English. The historic nature of the building just added to the experience....
