Cima molto panoramica, posta a 1810 m di quota, sulla lunga successione di vette che costituiscono il confine fra la svizzera Val Colla e l'italiana Val Rezzo. La salita è facile sia dalla Capanna Pariolo (1:30 ore; T2), sia da Seghebbia (2:15 ore; T2) ed è quindi adatta anche ai più piccini. Interessante il concatenamento con l'elegante Torrione di Valsolda (0:30 ore dalla cima; T2 ma T3 proprio sullo strappo finale).

Bellissima cima, molto panoramica e suggestiva. Escursione semplice, ultima mezz'ora di salita un po' più impervia. NOTA: ATTENZIONE, arrivando da San Lucio o Buggiolo/Seghebbia, al Cattle Trail: costeggiando in cresta il colle erboso verso la cima tenetevi lontani dai caratteristici bovini. Possono essere decisamente poco amichevoli.

Wir sind früh los von der Alpe Cottino, um den Sonnenaufgang 🌄 zu bestaunen. Es hat sich gelohnt, aber mit dem zügigen Wind war es frisch und wir gingen wieder gerne zurück ins warme Haus und haben dann ausgiebig Morgen gegessen.

NOTA: ATTENZIONE, arrivando da San Lucio o Buggiolo/Seghebbia, al Cattle Trail: costeggiando in cresta il colle erboso verso la cima tenetevi lontani dai caratteristici bovini. Possono essere decisamente poco amichevoli.

Bella cima nelle prealpi tra il territorio svizzero e italiano. Salendo da San Lucio, dopo un pezzo in piano, si affronta una salita a zig zag rocciosa tra gli alberi. Da in cima c'è una vista meravigliosa, che tempo permettendo, mostra anche il massiccio del monte bianco. La discesa è sempre su...
