The Google maps location is accurate and overall it's not a hard location to find.

The property is privately owned and fenched off so ya can't just go in there like that. Ya have to talk to one of the locals so they can reach out to the keeper of the grounds. There was an admission of 300jmd but that's not too much.

The water is 4 - 12 feet deep so it's not exactly a waterfall for the non swimmer and a sign already cautions you on this. So swim at your own risk.

Nonetheless ya can still enjoy what it offers.

The is another section further up the stream ,or better yet uphill, that's a lil shallower that this big one.

Hidden far up in the hills of Portland. This waterfall seems to always being flowing, even in the driest of times.

The waterfall is nice, but it's not one for non-swimmers. It's VERY deep. Since it's in the hills, then that water is pretty cold most of the times.

There is another area further up stream that's just as nice as this one, and more people friendly.

They have made some improvements to the infrastructure over the years. Such as adding some much needed steps to some areas.

The drive to get up to this is very scenic as well.

The fee to enter is either 500 or 1000 JMD, i dnt...

Beautiful waterfalls. At the locked entrance a young man named Paul greeted us and offered to take us to the waterfall. He unlocked the gate and led us up some concrete steps for the majority of the short walk. Thankfully Paul, the excellent young guide, was able to help me get across the remaining slippery large boulders to get into the clean, clear, cold water. I highly recommend this site. And if you have non-slip shoes wear them…unless your youthful and can walk barefoot across slippery rocks...

When you get there, you call, and someone comes to let you in. The entrance fee is 500 dollars. It's hard to find due to the poor signage poor road conditions in certain parts of the journey. Google directions take you to another falls. However, once you get there, it's definitely worth it. We went on a weekday, and we were alone. The water was crystal clean and cold. Beautiful scenery. Nice place to relax and rejuvenate.
