A must do in Asahikawa, our favourite activity in this city! Absolutely beautiful lush green fields and forest walks. Suitable for first timers, the owner speaks English well. Important tips for those who don't drive include that they can pick you up from the nearby train station by car and also drive you to Asahikawa zoo or nearby town if you want to catch another bus. Just inform them early and ask politely.
We are very grateful to the owner's mother as she drove us to a nearby popular restaurant we wanted to go to, only to find out it was full and were turning away many people with no reservations. Incredibly, she managed to persuade the restaurant staff to fit us in as we had traveled such a long way. She truly went out of her way to help us, so sweet of her ❤️🙏 Thank you so much for your kind...
Read moreI had an absolutely fantastic experience! The owners were so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The horses were incredibly gentle, which added to the charm of the day. The breathtaking views left us in awe and created a truly serene and calming atmosphere that my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed. It was definitely worth every moment!
If you’re planning to visit, it’s easy to walk from the station, just don’t forget to bundle up! Keep in mind that the closest station has a quaint, old-fashioned vibe—without any toilets or vendors—so it’s a good idea to come prepared. Trust me, it’s an adventure you won’t...
Read moreReasonably priced excellent horse riding experience. We did the one hour horse riding and it cost 10,000 yen each. We felt safe the whole time. Shu the owner did an excellent job of teaching us how to ride and the horses Maria and rose were very gentle. A helper also followed us while Shu lead the way to make sure we were safe and no bugs landed on us. This is a family run business and Shu has been riding for 16 years. The compound is rustic and takes you back in time. Highly recommended as one of the best things to do...
