A great stopover on the way from Mikasa to Furano... waterfall is surprisingly impressive (not size, but the sheer force of water coming through the “three steps’. Very fun - though was quite muddy, and beware of snakes in the area. Toilets available at the car park, though disappointing - and no running water (the irony). Less than 30 min scenic drive from Furano....

Bumped into this place by accident on our way to Furano. There are plenty of parking spots where you can leave your car for free and enjoy a little break next to the waterfall. great to visit with kids as well, although the path can be difficult to walk for...
