Toto Market — Local services in Ashiya

I visited "Toto Market" (another local and tourist spot in Ashiya Town) and tried their popular "Mixed Sashimi Rice Bowl" (Kaisendon).

The meal was fresh and delicious and it came with a good miso soup to enhance the flavor. The meal costs only 1,000 Japanese yen, which was a good value.

It was a sunny and dry day, not too hot, so I decided to take my tray outside to enjoy the meal. Although it was lunchtime, there weren't many people around, so I could relax and enjoy the clear, sunny autumn sky and weather.

On my way back, I bought a "Fish Store's Tendon" (fritters on rice) and a package of "Mini-Sauced Seafood Paste Cutlets" from a seafood store in "Toto Market" to enjoy at home.

Great place to go for fresh seafood. Has a bbq place as well. Nice place to do some shopping and then visit the ocean as it’s right across from here. Bring the kids have something to eat and then explore...
