Not the easiest to find the correct path, so I have left some images that hopefully help anyone else struggling.
There are two car parks, a lower one with P2 signage and one further up over a small bridge. We stopped at the one further up just over the bridge.
If you walk back on yourself across the bridge (picture 1) you will see a white sign & the entrance is up to the left - it is not the lower path along the side of the river but uphill as soon as you enter the path. (Picture 2)
At the end of the river where the waterfall is, the larger waterfall was dried up today, you can however scramble down and the smaller waterfall is tucked round the corner (follow path of arrow photo 3)

The road to get there was also quite an incredible adventure for us Canadians. Would highly recommend this off the beaten path hike. We only saw 2 other people while we were there on the trail so a nice change from the touristy stuff.
