Join some friends for camping and a chartered Airsoft game here. It was my first time using this field and from the website pictures, I was very excited!
Pros: The field is Jungle heavy and great for ghille suits. There are a lot of nice obstacles and interesting decorations giving the field a very unique look. We had a group of about 30 people. Given the field's size. I think if we had more people it would be difficult. So while the field isn't super big! It's large enough for a group of about 30 people, but not so big that you get lost. It's the perfect size for a meduim size group. I really enjoyed playing on this field.
Pros: The facilities were very good! The camp ground were great! I didn't go glamping. But the glamping site looks very nice and I'll definitely try that next time. The have a nice little shop to buy goods and a seperate little shop to rent airsoft gear. Nice toilets and even a nice hot working shower (not free - cost:100yen there was a little donation box near the shower so it was on an honor system, if you use the shower please be nice and pay). They had working free wifi near the store. A sink area for washing dishes. Lots of rental things for camping like fire pit, bbq grill, and so on.
Pros: Staff only speak Japanese. So make sure to have a person who can communicate in Japanese. The staff were super friendly and very relaxed. They were really accomadating and flexible and this made our experince so good! They had arranged transportation in a fancy black limo to and from Tsuga Station. My friend talked with the owner and he is very friendly and into outdoors and the military. Infact, some of the rentals were probably owned by the owner as he was probably an old-school airsofter himself as my friend who interacted with him told me.
Cons: Understaffed, it does take longer to get rentals or buy things (so being a patient customer is important) because they are so friendly and accomadating I didn't mind that they were understaffed. The field is only for private charter, so this makes it difficult to join a regular game. The field is old and some of the structures need to be fixed/renovated.
Overall, despite these minor things, this is a really great field to play on if you can charter it yourself or join a group to charter it. I hope they will renovate some of the obstacles on the field. I'd like to come and camp here again, try the glamping, and play airsoft again on this field. I highly...
Read moreWe just did a charter game as well as camping event at Camp Devgru and stayed at Crittersite (part of Camping Green). The experience here was absolutely amazing.
The owner and his staff are the kindest and most hospitable hosts we have ever experienced. The camping was rustic and a breath of fresh air for me to escape city life for a few days. Something I have been wanting to do for a long time.
The field needs some maintenance, but the layout is amazing, there are some buildings, ambush points, bottle necks and nice and unique areas like a swamp, graveyard, bunker type building, stationary minigun and heavily forested areas. Some parts are a little overgrown and need cleaning up/pruning. But it certainly did not spoil a wonderful experience our 30 something members had.
The field has rental guns (M4 with high-capacity magazines), a shop to restock gas, BB's and various other rental goods and a lunch ordering system with a couple of different options.
Overall it was a great experience that many enjoyed and we will be back...

My favorite air soft field - shame it's so far from home.
They seem to have a pretty comfortable budget so their facilities and are top notch. Personally, I liked their old field with all the hills a bit better but their new field in the (flatter) forest is more easily to traverse since it's slightly smaller.
More cover all around means it's harder to get boxed in and gives a lot more options to flank around.
Staff are chill, fun and reasonable with the rules. Rental equipment is all...
