Icicles of Misotsuchi — Local services in Chichibu

What an amazing, magical sight to see the icicles of Misotsuchi at night! All I can say is you have to see it for yourself because being there is nothing like you see in the photos. Photos are beautiful. But they don’t give you half the feeling of what it’s like to see the icicles with your own eyes. Absolutely loved the place. But just to inform, these are not natural. lol. You can see pipes with holes in them through which the water flows and freezes. (Of course it's still nature's beauty the way it freezes). Don't forget to take a walk untill the end to enjoy more views. Expect to spend around 40 minutes easily. The parking costs 500 yen and then the entrance costs...

The icicles are so beautiful. As the bus here is not frequent during the winter and the last bus depart to station is like before 4pm from here. And it is quite far away from the station. would suggest enjoy the illumination, stay nearby and go to mitsumine shrine in early morning...
